Link to the shaver/trimmer you reference?

  • Paul Hansen says:

Wordy, concerned casual micro essays for shaving from Chris. Oh, no…! Save us ! On the other hand, I’d love the funds to groove over the landscape and fluff up the underground with.

I think Sam Harris is one of the most misunderstood intellectuals out there. Every time a controversy that involves him arises, I go back and listen to his words and they almost never line up with the accusations prescribed to him. I would love to see him on this show honestly. The depths of conversation you two could embark on would be stellar!

  • The idea that high IQ is heavily linked with success in life is IMO highly debatable.

Take for instance Nikola Tesla. Arguably one of the greatest geniuses of our time. Responsible for the creation of the alternate current engine, one of the prime cornerstones of our modern technological civilization. BUT when it came to financial matters, he was painfully naive: Westinghouse duped him into tearing up their previous contract which granted him royalties for every horse power generated by his engines, which would have made him one of the richest men on the planet. He also didn’t feel inclined to pursue the development of his ‘cold light’ glowing tubes –the precursor of neon lights– which ended up illuminating almost every office space in the industrialized world.

He died in complete poverty, while the benefitiaries of his early patents earned millions.

Hey! So I think it is important to watch a few interview/lectures that Charles Murray gives. Also, to get a few more varied opinions on his book considering he has snippets of the implications of IQ and race not overarching themes as arguments. Just to do a little more research into the situation for a more informed take on the issue. Thanks!
