Slut shaming is like any other "Shaming" (Food,Alcohol,Gambling ect.) in my opinion, in that it is a perverse reaction to another person’s perverse reaction to their own reality.

For example, if a person is "Super Obese" (BMI>60%), they probably acknowledge they have food addiction.
So they just live their lives. *They don’t make Youtube videos of themselves eating Mukbangs (60 minute huge meals in one sitting.) Why?? Because they know they’ll be Fat Shamed.

People with Sex Addiction are no different. Just live your life. But the minute you celebrate being a Slut, there will be shame from people who don’t share that same Sex Addiction.

To be fair, my vice is Food with a family history of Food Addiction. I could very well slip into Food Addiction if I don’t watch myself. I acknowledge that Food Addiction exists.

*Most importantly, there is no hierarchy among addictions in my opinion. One isn’t better or worse than the others. They can all be benign, or taken to a harmful extreme. Whatever criticism might come form my comment, I just want to make it clear that I feel there is no hierarchy. Addiction is addiction is addiction.

Interesting, Chris, yet I think you could have her back so that we get to know her, as well as you. I think you talked more than she did. Thanks!

Yo should really do an interview with Cacilda

  • The mention of ‘performance’ and Sex reminded me how in some Latin American countries –particularly in Argentina– the slang term for loosing your virginity is "to have your debut" (‘debutar’), as if the poor teen was going to be on stage and scrutinized for his or her performance, which might have been the case for young males if their first sexual experience was in some cathouse where they were taken by older friends or their own dad. This no doubt will be hilarious to standup comedians who know how everybody ‘bombs’ the first time 😉
