Hey Chris in minute 50 when you talk about buying land close to your friends, like Rogan does, you sound like you want to establish a classic epicurean community. At one point those were so popular that there were 400.000 people living in them until the church ended the fun. https://youtu.be/Kg_47J6sy3A?t=228

Chris if you end up building that community count me in. I’m a math and physics teacher and I’ll educate* the crap out of the kids !

*"create an environment in which learning can occur" the crap out of them

  • –"He fought a bear!"
    –"Whoa!"
–"… A koala bear, but still!"

That cracked me up. Although I’m sure my Ozzie friends could tell you those bloody drop bears are not to be taken lightly –it LIVES in Australia so I’m sure there’s plenty of ways a koala can still kill you.

Re. The idea of trying to have a good time even during incredibly hard years, Daniele reminded me of his illustrious compatriots Dante, Boccaccio and Michelangelo, who saw Europe ravaged by wars, famine and pestilence, and yet still managed to create beauty that transcended their tumultuous times.

Loved this episode! Really cool conversation that I wasn’t just listening to but kind of being a part of.
    Thank you so much 🙂
