  • It’s always great listening to Daniele. He always brings great insight and humor into any topic.

His story about talking with a prostitute about his problems and she wanting to refuse the pay as a gesture of kindness reminded me of an anecdote of my own. I went to this brothel in Mexico City and the girl I picked seemed to had entered into a quarrel with one of her companions (maybe it was because I had chosen her over the other one who was drunk or something) so for 10-15 minutes I just lent her vent about that other woman as she was smoking a cigarette.
We were both naked and in the bed and I ended up grabbing her by the waist while she finished smoking, and honestly when I look back over the whole scene, those moments of friendly intimacy were more enjoyable to me than what came later –which wasn’t bad at all either.
