      Greetings Tangentialistas! (Tangendentalists?)
I recently came across this author on the Mysterious Universe podcast and immediately bought James Nestor’s Breath: The New Science of a Lost Art.
I’ll post a video that provides a nice intro to his argument. I think this subject And book is something that the TS community would be highly interested in and I’d love to hear James be interviewed by Chris some time!

I’m about 1/4th of the way through the book and am already sold on the importance of nasal breathing.

I enjoyed learning about how Native Americans used to pinch a baby’s lips together if it was sleeping with its mouth open. I might dig into George Catlin’s book “The Breath of Life”. His life sounds fascinating (traveling and visiting Native American tribes in the mid-1800s, I think solo).
