After spending some time in Thailand teaching tigers not to eat people, Ben went to Chile, bought an old VW camper van, and set off for Alaska. Four years later, he dropped by Portland to chat with me about his many adventures. Along with his friend Leah and the amazing dog, Alaska, we spent a few very enjoyable hours in Laurelhurst Park.
